Are all Karlande's products available to buy online?
Karlandedesigns.com features the majority of our products. We are frequently adding more products. We are unable to make sure that every piece is online immediately because we are constantly creating new designs. Please contact us if you have any ideas that you do not see on our site. We love working with our clients to come up with special and unique pieces just for them.
How do I place an order?
You can order jewellery directly through our website. All you need to do is follow the safe and easy directions through the checkout to complete your order. You may also order over the phone (709-466-3578) or by email (info.karlande@gmail.com).
What type of materials do you use in your jewellery?
Karlande’s focus is to ensure that you have high quality jewellery for the best price. We use Sterling Silver Components, Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski Pearls, and Fresh Water Pearls. We have recently added Stainless Steel Lockets and Bangles to our jewellery collection.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Karlande sells each piece of their jewellery in Tarnish Resistant Bags. These bags are made to keep your jewellery looking new. They have a special coating that will help prevent your sterling silver from tarnishing.
You should never wear your jewellery in Hot Tubs, Pools, or while using any harsh cleaning products.
Sterling Silver may tarnish over time. We recommend your jewellery be cleaned with proper cleaner made for Sterling Silver, rinsed clean, and laid out to dry. You can also use special polishing cloths made especially for Sterling Silver.
What are the different types of clasps?
Lobster Claw – This type of clasp is more secure. It is harder to get on and off but once it is on, it's on.
Toggle – This type of clasp is "prettier". It is easier to get on and off but not as secure as the Lobster Claw.
What size do I need?
Karlande's Jewellery comes in different sizes but don't worry if your size isn't listed, we also do custom sizes to fit everyone's needs.
To find out the size you need you can measure your wrist or anklet, snug, and then add on ½" to ¾" for comfort.

How long would it take to get my order?
We are proud to say that we get items out within 24 – 48 hours. It may take longer with larger or personalized orders, but we strive to have them out within 3-5 business days.
Shipping can add a few days from the time the order is finished to the time that you receive your items.
What are different shipping options?
If you are in the Clarenville area you can pick up your order at our shop. We also offer two different shipping options:
Priority Post
This type of shipping is insurable and traceable and you should receive your package in 1-4 business days. Your items will be packaged in gift boxes.
- Regional: $12.50 (NL, NB, NS, and PEI)
- National: $20.00 (The rest of Canada)
Standard Mail
This type of shipping goes standard mail and is not insurable nor traceable. Your items will come in a bubble envelope and package in organza bags. We cannot give a guaranteed time frame as to when you will receive your package. Shipped by Canada Post.
- $2.50 everywhere in Canada
International Shipping
Most international packages go standard mail and cost $11.00.
How can I get my Jewellery repaired?
Karlande does repairs on jewellery. You can mail your broken jewellery item to us in a bubble envelope, once we receive your item we will repair it and get it back in the mail to you within 1-2 business days. Most repairs cost $15. $17.50 would include shipping your item back to you. If it is a more complicated fix or clasps/closures are needed it would cost more.

What type of Warranty does Karlande offer?
Karlande warrants all their products under ordinary consumer use for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.
